• Assembly of local gas turbines with Made in Turkey certificate demanded by Clients to receive Renewables Energy additional incentive in geothermal energy industry
• Receival and organization of parts in the plant hall before assembly
• Procurement of local parts and also missing parts. Attendance to factory tests.
• Following the HSE regulations during assembly
• I was Site Manager of Power Plant supplier Atlas Copco and its Consortium Partners. Plants (Pamukören 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 - 22,5 MWe each, Özmen Sis Enerji 1 - 24 MWe, and Sultanhisar 1 - 13,8 MWe ORC Binary Type Geothermal Power Plants. Total installed capacity≈150MWe ) were supplied under EP/Supply contract. Construction was under responsibility of the Client/Investor. My responsibility was;
I. To be first and main contact to Client at site during all phases of the Project Cycle
II. Responsible for Quality and adherence to the Engineering documents and BOM during Erection of geothermal power plants
III. Supported Pre-commissioning & Commissioning of projects once deployed and erection completed in the field, including development of cold commissioning processes.
IV. Managed the local procurements of goods & costs of the project based on the given budget and contractual definition of scope and seeing to that it is collected and cumulated as database for the application engineers.
V. Cooperated with consortium partners, suppliers, internal divisions and / or the GAP Geothermal Competence Team
VI. Managed warranty claims; followed up punch items and warranty issues
VII. Kept contract (ORGALIME) as a base at Client discussions, negotiations,”stick with the contract”
VIII. Provided ORC plant training to Clients after trial period during operations
IX. Supported the development, execution and optimization for Geothermal projects as well as to assist in improving O&M efficiency post commissioning
• Assisted in product definition for geothermal ORC plants offered in Turkey. Assisted in finding and evaluating local suppliers for offering of turnkey plants in Turkey
• I have been also the Branch Manager of the local Atlas Copco Mechanical Shop in Izmir that is registered for the manufacturing of made in Turkey radial turbine.
