China Green Development Investment Group is reported to have built the largest solar farm in the world. The solar farm is reported to comprise more than 5 million panels and will produce 3.5 gigawatt of electricity. The farm covers over 33,000 acres, is located in Xinjiang province of China, and costs over $2 billion.
