Quick-commerce, an e-commerce concept whereby orders are delivered to buyers within 10 – 15 minutes after buyer makes a purchase. The company achieves this by placing small warehouses in several strategic locations, ensuring that orders can be delivered within a few minutes.
Flipkart, India’s largest e-commerce player and backed by Walmart has made an entrance into the quick-commerce space, delivering a large range of products, from groceries to smartphones. Amazon, which is also present in India, seems uninterested in the quick-commerce concept, and instead focuses on its same-day delivery service.
