The first hurricane of the Atlantic season, Beryl has intensified into a category 4 storm, and is heading for the Caribbean. Grenada and Tobago, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Sant Vincent & the Grenadines, and Haiti are projected to be in its path. With winds of 130 mph, such a dangerous storm could cause significant damage. Residents of these nations have been warned to take necessary measures, with Trinada & Tobago issuing a red-level warning, which is the highest from their Trinadad Meteorological service. Airports in these countries will also be shutting down.
