Beryl has advanced from a category 4 to a category 5 storm, and has reportedly caused massive carnage and destruction in parts of the Caribbean. Almost 90% of buildings, homes, and other infrastructure in eastern Caribbean were levelled. Beryl has also hit Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, causing largescale destructions, damages, and outages to human lives, power infrastructures, and agriculture. Almost 41 persons have been killed and thousands of homes destroyed or without power.
