Tesla is Again Asking Shareholders To Approve Elon’s $56 Billion Compensation

In an upcoming shareholder meeting, Tesla will again ask investors to vote and approve Elon Musk’s $56 Billion compensation package that was previously cancelled by a Delaware Judge. Also, the company said it’ll ask shareholders to equally vote to move the company’s state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas.

Robyn Denholm, the chair of Tesla’s board said the Delaware judge had effectively second-guessed shareholder’s decision by cancelling the pay package that was approved in 2018. By so doing, Robyn argues Elon was not paid for the work he rightfully did and for the shareholder value he has created.
