Field Operations Manager
Alex Terán R. has a brilliant professional track record both in engineering development and construction of energy infrastructure projects as well as in downstream and midstream operations for the oil & gas and industrial sectors.
He has managed multiple projects, most notably those associated with conceptual, basic and detailed engineering development; multidisciplinary construction and assembly; commissioning, start-up and operation of production facilities, including natural gas projects, hydraulic pumping artificial lift facilities. At the international level, he has been in charge of off-shore construction and operation projects related to floating production facilities (FPSO) and field development projects. He has directed consulting services for technical, legal and government compliance with Off-Shore production facilities before Governmental organizations in Peru, as well as engineering and construction projects both Off-Shore and On-Shore.
He has participated in contract negotiations in clauses related to production facilities services with PEMEX National Petroleum Company.
He has served as head of production facilities plant with ASME stamp.
He has participated in the implementation processes of ISO-OHSAS quality management systems and specialized management systems such as ASME for international certifications.
In addition, he has carried out business development activities in several countries in Latin America and the Middle East.
He has also worked as superintendent of operations and field manager of one of the most prestigious oil services companies in Ecuador, with his forte being an outstanding capacity for planning and execution.
Alex Terán is a Highly accomplished Mechanical Engineer (Honors) and MBA (Master of Business Administration) graduated from the Army Polytechnic School ESPE – Ecuador
