Barel is located in Kirkenes in the north of Norway. We are the northernmost manufacturer of Ex-electronics in the world and have for over 30 years delivered the world's top electronics.

We are TeamBarel - our 64 employees continuously deliver the best electronics in the world to customers all over the world. We are certified as a Great Place to Work, and in 2024 are nominated as Top 50 Workplaces nationally.

Barel is a company that specializes in producing and supplying electronic equipment specifically designed for Ex-luminaires, such as electronic ballast with or without emergency function, LED lamps, visual status indicators, and batteries. These products are crucial in providing efficient, high-quality lightning solutions for hazardous environments where safety is a priority.

**Barels production complies with the regulations under ATEX and IECEx. Barels Ex-products are certified for use in Zone1/EPL Gb, category II 2G.
