Description of Services
1). Conventional Coring
Canamera Coring has redefined conventional coring by increasing tolerances, innovating solutions, and incorporating state-of-the-art materials. Our proprietary Core Barrels are part of this reinvention and combined with systems such as Jam Mitigation System (JMS®), conventional coring is anything but conventional.
Canamera Coring’s 500 and 525 series barrels address challenges in 5-7/8” to 6-3/4” hole sizes, while the 650 and 700 series excel in 7-7/8” and larger hole sizes. With the industry's highest torque capacity, the 650 and 700 series can be configured up to 1000 feet long, built to offshore standards. These barrels accommodate various inner configurations, such as One-On-Right aluminum inner tubes and the Jam Mitigation System (JMS®), ensuring efficient recovery from unconsolidated sands to high-compressive strength rocks like granite.
Canamera’s fleet of barrels continues to provide the largest OD core samples.

2). Premium Wireline Coring

Core barrel turnaround for the next run is often the timeliest process of coring. By retrieving the inner core barrel through the center of drill pipe to surface, tripping time is reduced by 85%. By dropping the next core barrel from the surface tripping in is a matter of minutes.
