About Copper State Rubber
Specialties Company started in 1957 in Houston, Texas as a distribution company for quality hose products. To meet the growing demands of the industry, in 1980, Specialties Company acquired Copper State Rubber, located in Phoenix, Arizona. Copper State Rubber is a manufacturer of hoses, and by joining forces with Specialties Company, Copper State Rubber proceeded to increase production capacity with the addition of new spiral wire machines and by upgrading existing equipment. Copper State Rubber was the first U.S. manufacturer to introduce the 3" ID Super Choke and Kill hose that operates at 15,000 psi with a test pressure of 22,500 psi.
For example, we are the first American Manufacturer to introduce the Super Choke & Kill hose that operates at 15,000 PSI and tests to 22,500 PSI, and to qualify a Rotary/Vibrator hose 6” full flow ID that operates at 7,500 PSI, and test to 15,000 PSI that meets API 7K FSL1 & FSL2 Requirements.
