About Forgia Di Bollate
FDB – an acronym for Forgia di Bollate – has a long tradition in the field of open-die forging and heat treatment of steel, with a special focus on the production of shaped rings in steel and nickel-based alloys.
1961
The company was founded in Bollate, in the province of Milan, in 1961. The growing demands of the market have driven the increase in production capacity to the present day.
Over the years, we have strategically directed our investments and diversified our technical production capacity, specializing in the production of shaped rings.
2010
The new site is now located in Canneto sull’Oglio: the project, started in 2010, saw the construction of a production plant equipped with state-of-the-art machinery in the rolling sector.
With this move, we have continued our mission: to accept the challenges of the market, even the most complex ones, and to accompany our customers in their evolution.

Open-die forging
Each project is designed by an experienced team of technicians able to support the customer for any requirement, while modern software monitor the entire production cycle.
Quality is guaranteed through dimensional checks carried out on 100% of the products and through NDT and destructive tests, as well as metallographic examinations carried out in our in-house laboratory.
