- Construction Industry
The Construction industry requires long lasting sealing solutions. The seals in use must handle thousands of hours of continual use and be extremely reliable in all environments and terrains.
- Oil & Gas industry
JST develops, manufactures and supplies high performance sealing solutions for demanding Oil & Gas applications of drilling and exploration, completion and production, and intervention activities.
Every year, JST invests 6% of its annual turnover in research and experiments to bring forth innovation, upgrading sealing products to higher technical standards with aggressive fluids, chemical compatibility, stronger heat-resistance, stability, and durability in harsh conditions.
JST has a complete technical system, a material formulation laboratory, a comprehensive performance laboratory for high & low temperature and high pressure products, - 196 ℃ ultra-low temperature laboratory, equipped with a high and low temperature tensile testing machine, a material abrasion testing machine, a material immersion testing machine, a finite element analysis (FEA), and in combination with the company's PLM system, it can make deeper researches on rubber materials, PTFE composites and product performance.
JST materials receive rigorous internal and thirty-party tests and have obtained NORSOK M-710 immersion test certificates by Element laboratory in UK, Alpine laboratory in US, and laboratory of China University of Petroleum, as well as RGD test certificate by BV and API 6A PR2 test certificate by DNV for sealing of various devices.
The Oil & Gas industry typically utilizes large hydraulic seals as well, JST's rod seals and buffer seals are able to deliver a high-performing and long-lasting solution.

Sealing at cryogenic temperatures has its own unique set of challenges. JST has a wide range of solutions for cryogenic sealing applications. Cryogenic seals require skillful design by combining the right type of material, seal configuration, and spring energizer to overcome the dimensional fluctuation of all mating parts.
