Hwashin Bolt is engaged in the national power generation industry, supplying critical components to the manufacturers and constructors of major energy-producing equipment and facilities.

This industry is at the heart of the national economy, serving as a conduit for economic growth. Our products must be continuously innovative within a disciplined manufacturing environment to meet and exceed customer demands.

Through operational efficiency, we successfully provide critical bolting solutions for steam and gas turbines, hydroelectric power plants, and nuclear power plants on a continuous basis.

Hwashin Bolt is deeply committed to meeting market demands and can respond to urgent needs by stocking a wide range of standard and engineered components.
We also maintain a substantial inventory of raw materials, including both standard and exotic materials, allowing us to manufacture custom components with short lead times.

 

STEAM TURBINE

Our products can be found in thermal power plants across the globe.
They are used in turbines, boilers, high-pressure valves, actuators, and other equipment.

In addition to turbine casing bolts such as TAP STUDS, THRU STUDS, SLOTTED, COVERED, and ROUNDED NUTS, ECCENTRIC PINS, etc.,
you can also find a variety of high-tensile structural products.

Turbine models from M3 to M190, including those from GE, SIEMENS, ALSTOM, MHPS, DOOSAN, and others, require our products for high-temperature and high-pressure applications.

 

GAS TURBINE

We are involved in 130 gas turbine units in Korea. The global power generation market exceeds 18 trillion Korean Won.

We serve GE, SIEMENS, and MHPS models, supplying components such as casings, rotors, high-pressure valves, actuators, and water pumps used worldwide.

We have expanded our supply to Korea District Heating Corporation, GS Power, Ulsan Combined Cycle Power Plant, Busan Combined Cycle Power Plant, and Bundang Combined Cycle Power Plant, while also extending to other plants in the USA and Japan.

 

NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

Nuclear power, utilizing heat generated from the fission of uranium in nuclear reactors, accounts for 34% of Korea’s total domestic power supply.

We are a Q-CLASS certified maintenance provider. We service the HANBIT, HANUL, and SHIN KORI plants with critical components, following strict QA procedures and inspections to ensure safe operation.

 

HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT

We are proud to be leaders in supporting the production of eco-friendly energy.
The conversion of water’s kinetic energy into readily usable electric power for domestic and industrial use has been a cornerstone of environmental power generation.

A wide range of our products can be found in various equipment and facilities, including SANCHEONG PUMPED WATER POWER PLANT, CHEONGPYEONG HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT, SEOMJIN RIVER HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT, GANGNEUNG HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT, and CHEONGSONG PUMPED WATER POWER PLANT.

 

• OIL & GAS

OIL & GAS OFFSHORE PLANT

The industry demands products that are resistant to harsh environmental conditions, particularly exposure to seawater and airborne salt.
Our wide range of products is available with various protective coatings and exotic materials, designed for corrosion resistance, high-temperature, and high-pressure applications.

 

FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage, Offloading)

An FPSO is a floating oil refinery equipped with facilities to operate in deep waters, enabling the extraction and transfer of crude oil. It has storage capacity and the ability to pump crude oil onto carrier vessels.

FPSOs are designed and constructed to withstand harsh weather conditions and rough seas, requiring flexible piping, tubing, connections, and a wide range of other equipment.

PLAT FORM

Product requirements are no less demanding than those for FPSOs, as previously discussed.
Platforms can be fixed structures anchored to the ocean bed and are generally classified into groups for drilling and production.

F-LNG (FLOATING LIQUID NATURAL GAS)

These structures require similar products and applications as those used on FPSOs but may also demand cryogenic applications.
They operate on a similar level but are specifically designed for the extraction, transfer, liquefaction, storage, and transportation of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

SUB SEA

In the subsea industry, Hwashin Bolt Ind. supplies parts for X-MAS TREE, BOP, WELLHEAD, and MANIFOLD through API qualification.
We specialize in producing high-quality parts that meet the rigorous qualification standards of major subsea corporations, including Schlumberger, TechnipFMC, and NOV.

 

• Renewable

HWASHIN BOLT is contributing to the development of renewable energy and supporting wind turbine projects for localization of parts.
Our main products, BLADE BOLTS and ANCHOR CHAINS, are supplied to DOOSAN HEAVY INDUSTRIES, one of the leading wind turbine manufacturers.

• Transportation

In the transportation industry, we have supplied products that are fastened to heavy equipment. Our products are supplied to mining, locomotive and engines, forklift equipment. A High-vibration and heavy load bolts are mainly supplied in alloy materials. A perfect quality product is required, and we have been supplying this field worldwide for a long time.

• Petrochemical

Hwashin Bolt Ind. supplies piping materials and fasteners for petrochemical plants.
Our major customers include S-OIL and SK Energy.

Petrochemicals, also called petroleum distillates, are chemical products derived from petroleum.Some chemical compounds made from petroleum can also be obtained from other fossil fuels, such as coal or natural gas.

Hwashin Bolt supplies casing bolts for small turbines and pumps installed in petrochemical plants. LG Chem and SK Energy are our main customers.

• EPC

EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
It is a common contracting arrangement in the construction industry. Under an EPC contract, the contractor designs the installation, procures the necessary materials, and constructs it-either using its own labor or by subcontracting part of the work.

The contractor assumes project risk for both schedule and budget in exchange for a fixed price. HWASHIN BOLT supplies studs and nuts for piping applications.
