About LUC Group
We specialize in producing and processing hot cast and cured polyurethane elastomers. From day one the profound knowledge of polyurethane chemistry has been the center around which the business developed. This is especially reflected by the numerous formulations and processing methods available today.
Since 1971, LUC has specialized in working with hot cast and cured polyurethane (PUR) elastomers. PUR combines the strength of plastic with rubber’s elasticity, offering superior properties compared to traditional rubber or thermoplastic materials. Our expertise in polyurethane chemistry is reflected in our various formulations and processing methods. We can customize these to meet specific customer needs.
We work with classic polyurethane systems, including well-known brands like Vulkollan®, Adiprene®, and Baytec®. Additionally, we create proprietary formulations by blending polyols (polyether, polyester) with diisocyanates (NDI, TDI, MDI, PPDI, CHDI) and different cross-linking agents. Years of research have led to our proprietary polyurethane systems like LUCANYL, LUCTHAAN, LUCHYD, and LUC-THS/R. We’re committed to ongoing research and development for future polyurethane materials with unique properties.
