Our story started in 1945 with a vision to produce and supply quality, American-made hydraulic fittings, adapters, and screw machine piece parts for hardworking American industries. As the market changes and industries shift, we expanded into industrial hoses and hose accessories. As we grew, adapted, and stayed resilient, one thing will always stay consistent: our commitment to serving and earning the trust of our customers with reliable and quality domestic fluid conveyance products and solutions.

1945

Established Screw Machine Products Company (SMP)

1950

Began Producing hydraulic fittings, adapters, and screw machine piece parts

1970's

SMP begins marketing its complete line of hydraulic fittings through its own distribution channel

1977

Hy-Tek Hose & Coupling is incorporated as SMP’s OEM division in La Porte, Indiana

1980

Jones Enterprise is incorporated as the sales and marketing arm of SMP

1991

Jones family acquires 100% ownership of NRP, and industrial hose manufacturer

1999

Jones Enterprise achieves ISO 9001 certification, ensuring we meet tough industry standards

2010

A new corporate headquarters is built in La Porte, Indiana

2011

Main Street Capital Corporation acquires SMP, NRP, and Jones Enterprise and begins to operate all three entities under NRP Jones

2023

Restructure under new leadership to continue the legacy and excellence with a strong focus on sustainable growth, brand awareness, expansion into new markets, and product diversification
