About ONBOARD DYNAMICS
Onboard Dynamics was founded in 2013, building on technology that originated at Oregon State University. Later, we secured funding from the DOE’s Advanced Research Projects Agency for Energy (ARPA-E) to advance our technology to address the critical lack of infrastructure in the natural gas refueling market.
Since launching our GoVAC® Pipeline Evacuation System line in 2021, we have evacuated over 16.95M scf of natural gas with over 8,605 MT CO2e net methane emissions reduced.
Our products are based on unique, patented natural gas compression technology.
Our mobile, scalable, affordable technology platform enables our customers to achieve economic value and environmental benefits by simplifying the compression and movement of natural gas. Whether they are deployed at a remote pipeline job site, in the field, or at a fleet yard, our product solutions can accept any low-pressure natural gas or a renewable natural gas source and then compress or move this natural gas for responsible use. And there is no need for any external power source to operate.
Description of Services
We invite you to explore our natural gas compression systems.
Our patented systems minimize methane and other GHG releases during pipeline operations, mitigate GHG emissions from transportation vehicles, and capture methane that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.
No External Power Required
No diesel, electricity, or any other fuel source required in its operation. Our systems run on a small portion of the natural gas from the pipeline.
Environmental Reporting
Our digital control system provides operators with accurate reports showing the measured amount of natural gas captured and recovered.
Hazardous Area Compliant
Our systems can operate safely within pipeline hazardous locations without the need for external additional equipment like diesel generators or air compressors.
Mobile/Scalable

Self-Contained
Small enough to be pulled by a pickup. The portable, integrated system is easy to maneuver around a job site and requires no extra equipment.
