Petro-Line, incorporated in 1977, is involved in the construction, maintenance, and upgrading of pipelines and facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry. We have completed a vast number of projects, primarily in Western Canada, including many which required our specialty services and planning. Our goal is to complete projects, in conjunction with our clients, safely, efficiently, cost competitively and with little impact on the environment.

What we do
1977 – Petro-Line was founded in 1977 by Mr. Al Miller and Mr. William (Bill) Kershaw. Al and Bill saw a need for a small diameter pipeline construction company in Alberta. Through their many contacts in the industry they decided that they would start Petro-Line to fill this void. They chose to locate in the center of Alberta in the actively building Nisku Industrial Park.
1985 – Petro-Line had become a very active pipeline construction company servicing many oil and gas producers in Alberta. Due to significant political changes within and throughout the industry, the industry had become stagnant and restricted to the point of recession. It was then that Al and Bill decided to sell the majority of unused assets while maintaining a small fleet of sidebooms as a rental operation.
