About Reserve Equipment, Inc.
Reserve Equipment and its two affiliates, Reserve Compression Corp and Reserve Service Corp., provide gas compression services, specializing in the evacuation of natural gas pipelines and short-term, sometimes unusual, compression projects.
The Reserve companies have a long history of meeting customer needs. Since 1960, Reserve has moved from the straight leasing of compressors to a full service compression business, and then to concentration on the temporary compression operations with trailer-mounted compressor sets.

Description of Services
1) Pipeline Evacuation
Transferring gas from valve sections being removed from service into active sections of pipeline. This is a preferable option to blowing or flaring the gas.
Reserve completed its first pipeline evacuation project in 1975. We have performed evacuation services at thousands of sites, using from one to ten portable units. We have evacuated lines as short as a single pig trap and as long as 700 miles.
We have evacuated lines from 4 to 48 inches in diameter, with initial pressures ranging from 50 to 1350 psig down to less than 10 psig when required. Some require weeks of operation while others less than one hour.
A typical project is completed in 48 hours. Our operations department will provide various options to meet our customers’ needs.

2) Temporary Compression
Reserve provides natural gas compression to increase pressure or capacity in pipelines.
Reserve provides its customers pressure boosting for a variety of purposes.
Whether to temporarily replace out-of-service equipment, boost pressure to allow for leak testing, pushing or pulling of pigs, providing “gas lift” for oil wells, compress vaporized LNG to prevent outages during emergency situations, or even to provide pressure to test land-based turbine engines. Reserve can deliver between 50 to 1250 psig.
