Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta or commonly abbreviated as UPNYK, is one of the State Universities (PTN) in Indonesia located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
Description of Services
At the time of its establishment, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta only had 3 majors. Now UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta has 5 faculties consisting of 1 study program for D-3, 21 study programs for S-1, 8 study programs for S-2, and 1 study program for S-3. Through these study programs, UPNYK is committed to realizing quality education in science, technology, and business.
What we do
The direction of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta's education is to develop science and technology based on the values of discipline, struggle, creativity, excellence, nationality, and honesty in order to support national development through the field of higher education in order to create superior human resources in the global era based on the spirit of defending the country.
As a university founded by warriors and veterans, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta must be able to inherit the spirit of struggle in overcoming various problems faced by society and the nation, including the challenge of developing science and technology resources to increase the nation's competitiveness. To realize this, a vision has been set, namely to become a leading private university in the development of science and technology based on discipline, struggle, and creativity in order to support national development.
UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta applies a new paradigm in community service activities that are problem solving, comprehensive, meaningful, complete, and sustainable with a goal that is not singular. These things are the reason for the development of the Community Service (PbM) program.
The target audience of the PbM program is:
1) An economically productive society;
2) People who are not yet economically productive, but have a strong desire to become entrepreneurs; and
3) Economically unproductive society (general public/ordinary people).
