The Biden administration has awarded $504 million in grants to certain technology hubs working on innovative technologies like artificial intelligence, clean energy, and AI chips. The funding is in an attempt to spur national growth and development of cutting edge technologies and create more tech jobs. Researchers in South Florida working on clean tech will receive $19 million. Recipients in Illinois, Indiana, and Tulsa will get $51 million for their work on autonomous systems and AI. Additional funding will go to researchers in New York and Nevada amongst others.
