Duvernay East Mini Study
Analysis of 15 wells
NuTech’s East Duvernay study includes reservoir characterization on 15 petrophysically and geomechanically evaluated well logs in the East Shale Basin. The play is an extension of its deeper partner located in West Central Alberta where many majors are currently testing and building production. The East Duvernay is shallower than the Duvernay to the west and produces mainly light oil. Although the land position is not as sizeable geographically it has gathered attention due to its accessibility, light oil production, and shallower depth, that drives economics.
