Hoxbar Trend Study
Analysis of 140 wells.
NuTech’s Hoxbar Trend study includes 140 evaluated well logs and is NuTech’s fifth study in the MidCon region. The Pennsylvanian-aged Hoxbar group of the Anadarko Basin is primarily comprised of hydrocarbon bearing sand & conventional shale sequences. The Hoxbar portion of the study identifies the Wade, Medrano, Marchand, and Culp/Melton sub-members. Approximately half of the study wells include analysis over deeper Springer, Miss, and Woodford strata, with twelve of the study wells evaluated through the Woodford. The Study covers an area from Stephens County (2N-5W) moving to the Northwest into Custer County (14N-16W). The majority of study coverage falls within Grady and Caddo Counties. Each study well has petrophysical and geomechanical rock properties analysis utilizing NuTech’s calibrated models. Cross sections and attribute maps are available by request.
