We Provides A Field-Wide 3D Presentation
Whether you are evaluating a prospect, developing completion plans, searching for bypassed pay, or any of the countless other risk-reward decisions you’re faced with, NuTech’s geological modeling technologies and processes are invaluable.
The process takes advantage of the textural analysis and petrophysical outputs to build models that let us:
Everything begins with the petrophysical analysis on the wells to be modeled in the process. Specified rock properties are distributed across an area where spatial relevance and reservoir interconnectivity become more clearly focused.
Interpreted seismic data also can be integrated. The reservoir intelligence team looks at correlations to ensure they make.
3D Structural Modeling and Grid Design
Once this data has been input, we start building a structural model, which helps to define the relationships between surfaces and faults. Once we have the structural model built, we create a grid. This is where we decide on the resolution. That’s based upon the size of the project, distance between wells, and the horizon that we are looking for on the log.
Quick Stats:
10'S Of Thousands Wells analyzed in our data library. And counting.
1,600 Mapped and processed logs available immediately from our area studies.
8,000 Wolfcamp wells analyzed.
1,500 Eagle Ford wells analyzed.
30 Percent of wells processed have been unconventional.
256 Completed 3D reservoir characterization studies.

The intel gathered and shared by our unique, integrated process and one-of-a-kind team of experts informs the entire life cycle of an asset. Having analyzed nearly 100,000 wells for more than 500 clients in every major play in the world, no one can provide a clearer picture of an asset’s value.
A privately-owned, comprehensive global oilfield services company, NuTech was founded in 1998 by ex-Schlumberger and Numar/Halliburton executives who pioneered Nuclear Magnetic Resonance research and development.
