a). Mud Logging

Raptor Consulting, Inc. currently uses TLog, a logging software developed by Terra SLS, Inc. Below are a few examples of the type of logs we can provide to you, as well as a link to Terra SLS, Inc. website for more information on the TLog software.

b). Digital Gas Detection

The MLogger series gas detector is a digital gas detection system. Specifically designed for well site gas detection, and with the Mud Logger in mind. The three models begin with the Blue Box (TG) which detects total gas only. The Red Box (TGC) will detect total gas and has a built in chromatograph, and our most advanced MLogger, the Green Box (TGC-CHO), includes CO2, H2S, and O2 detection along with total gas and a chromatograph. Each model includes advanced network capabilities, giving Mud Loggers, Geologists, and interested parties the ability to remotely manage multiple wells, all from an easy to use dashboard on a private and secure website. This website is tailored to your company, giving Mud Loggers the ability to create a log from anywhere!

c). Well Evaluation & Reporting

Daily Drilling Reports

A daily report which includes a morning report, updated log, and geosteering interpretations and recommendations. The daily report contains the following:

• Daily drilling summary with past 24 hour drilling activities
• Updated surveys
• Plan view image showing progress of well
• Traditional geosteering image
• Formation tops and target projections while landing the curve
• Isopach chart used while landing the curve

Geosteering Reports

Regular geosteering interpretations and recommendations will be provided via e-mail at an interval to be determined by client.

Final Well Reports

At the end of each well, a comprehensive final well report will be distributed to the client in a timely manner. The final well report consists of the following:

• Written geologic evaluation of the well
• Well data summary containing operator information, well location, and third-party contractors
• Summary of daily drilling activities, mud properties, and bottom hole assembly record
• Geosteering cross section
• Surveys
• Structure
• Lithology
• Digital copy of report and logs e-mailed to client (hard copies available upon request)

d). Real Time Data

Raptor Consulting, Inc. offers real-time remote viewing of gas chromatography. Clients can view real-time total gas and integrated C1-C4 chromatograph values as the well progresses. The client also receives relative bit status (on/off/bottom), hole depth, rate of penetration, pump status, lag time and depth, and gallons per minute. Viewing of real-time updated geologic logs is also available at the client’s request. This information is accessible through any computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

• PEC Basic Orientation Training

Ensure your employees are using PEC Basic Orientation, the most widely used safety orientation in the US onshore and offshore E&P Industry, accredited by both SafeLandUSA and SafeGulf and presented by SafeWorld!

This 6-8 hour basic orientation meets API RP 75 & API RP T-1 requirements and provides a basic understanding of general safety information at an awareness orientation level.

• PEC H2S Clear More Information

PEC H2S Clear is designed, with the help and endorsement of Eric Rosemann CSP, to improve the safety performance and workplace environments of industry workers who may come in contact with hydrogen sulfide during their job duties.

This 4-5 hour course meets the classroom requirements of ANSI Z390.1 and is available as a standalone course or can be taken in addition to a PEC Basic Orientation, PEC Basic/10, or PEC Core Compliance course.

• PEC MSTQ Core Syllabus (Midstream)

The 2 hour PEC MSTQ Core Syllabus training is an instructor-led or eLearning (CBT) module that covers general midstream oil and gas safety information. PEC MSTQ Core reinforces worker awareness of hazards they may encounter in their workplace and strengthens student knowledge of various practices to mitigate those hazards. Students will be reminded of OSHA regulations and industry best practices, and how to apply that knowledge to stay safe in the workplace.

 

 

 

4). Geosteering

Geosteering aids in determining the geologic structure of the formation. This information is important while drilling horizontal oil and gas wells to remain in the desired target zone.

Geosteering is the correlation of real-time MWD gamma ray data to offset logs in order to calculate formation bed dip. Other components of geosteering include stratigraphy of target interval, penetration rates, gas trends, and isopach thickness for a perfect landing within the desired target zone.  Through mathematical calculation, specialized software, and experience, Raptor Consulting, Inc. can help your company maximize production while minimizing costs. Raptor Consulting, Inc. uses a variety of software to perform its geosteering services, which include a traditional method of geosteering developed in-house, Terracosm’s software WellDirect, Stoner Engineering Software (SES) and Rogii StarSteer.

Raptor Consulting, Inc. offers two options for onsite geosteering: the first option is included with our well site geology service package, at no additional cost; the second option is onsite geosteering with no well site geology service, at a reduced cost.

Raptor Consulting, Inc. offers an option for remote geosteering 24/7 days a week, nights and weekends. Our experienced employees have firsthand knowledge of drilling operations on location. Clients are provided a customized solution based on their individual requirements to meet their operational goals.
